There has been so much spirit leading up to the event, that the Egg Harbor Township Police Department has put out reminders on their social media pages, warning people about not camping out for the event. "No camping or overnight guests are permitted" says the Egg Harbor Township Police Department "arrival at the event is permitted at 7am on Thursday, August 1, 2024". This was part of a long facebook post by the Police Department outling their expectations of those who are planning to attend.
One of the highly sought out items is the Spirit Halloween limited swag bag for the first 200 people in line starting at 7am. The first 2,500 people will get a numbered landyard and will be permitted into the store following the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am based on their landyard number. Following the roll call, it will be on a first come, first serve basis as the store will remain open until 8pm.
The Carnevil begins at 9:00 am with games, special prizes and entertainment. Food and beverages will be availble for purchase from local vendors until the festivities conclude at noon.
