Garlette to Create Haunt Theme Park Award

Belleville, NJ--Nationally Recognized Artist Charlie Garlette of Dellamorte & Co will be creating a one of kind Haunt Award for the Highest Graded Theme Park Haunted Attraction presented annually by the Haunt Hunters. "We are very happy to have such a talented artist create this award" says Mr Haunt who is the face behind the Haunt Hunters "whoever gets this recognition is going to have a piece that will be oozing with creativity". The Haunt Hunters travel across the Country Hunting the Best Haunted Attractions. The highest graded Haunts are separated by division based on the type of Haunt Attraction that they represent. This includes Indoor Haunted Attractions, Haunted Hayrides, and Theme Park Haunts. The winners are recognized in the Book of Haunts and are awarded with a custom, one of kind award that represents their accomplishment.  Garlette will take his talents to create the award for the Best Theme Park Haunt that currently has Dorney Park with the highest grade going into the 2017 Haunt Season.

Dellamorte & Co. started with a desire for decorative and functional art that matched our aesthetic sense and eccentric tastes. We are an artist collective whose style is influenced by mythology, futurism, the occult, and the macabre. Many of our pieces are inspired by historical sources- tomb art and ossuaries, as well as cross-cultural dark themes, such as Dia de los Muertos, voodoo, Lovecraft, steampunk, and other science fiction/fantasy themes.

Renaissance and Baroque artists, which became major influences in our style, can be seen in the aesthetic of almost all of our work. Since a focus of our products is on decorative and functional pieces, we look to how old masters applied their craft to similar work. Much of 19th century sculpture and Art Nouveau explored function and style;our goal is to bring attention to detail and form through these influences. A lot of dark or gothic art we see today can be lackluster, so we give our pieces a sense of classical maturity.
